2017 Alexander Technique Intensive Residential in Healsville organized by the School for F.M. Alexander Studies in Melbourne and attended by teachers from all over Australia including teachers and  trainees  of the Sydney Alexander Technique School.

Great opportunity for meeting new people, exchanging information and rich learning. Diverse Programme consisted of:

• Group Technique classes daily with Caren Bayer, divided in three levels: Beginners, Advanced and Teachers (Alternating with  Greg Holdaway and Simon Fitzgibbon )
• Early morning out-door Tai-Chi classes (Caren Bayer)
• Yoga classes (David Moore)
• Voice group class (Jenny Thirtle)
• Group work classes (Rossella Buono)
• Individual Trainee presentations (diverse topics)
• Games evening
• Performance evening (all participants)

AUSTAT Conference 2016 (29-31 July 2016 at Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne)
Keynote Presenter – Caren Bayer – Experiencing dynamic mindfulness

Around 80 teachers and trainees from all over- Victoria, NSW, Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, ACT, New Zealand, Germany and the guest teacher Caren Bayer from the USA.

There was a wonderful range of workshops and presentations by local teachers, with the interweaving thread of daily workshops with Caren.

Run annually by the School for F.M.Alexander Studies in Melbourne. This year the visiting teacher was Caren Bayer fro New York who is also a T’ai Chi Master and added a new and rich perspective to the training.

Who is Lucia Walker?
Lucia Walker is a master international Alexander Technique teacher and a practicing contemporary dance artist. Lucia is known for her playful, gentle and curious approach to working with groups. Her workshops include games, exploration, observations and ample personal feedback to individuals.

Clive was invited to teach 13,5 hours on Yoga History, Philosophy and Physiology at the Yogalates Studio in Bangalow NSW from 15 to 17 May 2015. (www.yogalates.com.au)

Yogalates is the ground breaking fusion of Yoga and Pilates developed by Louise Solomon and practiced world over. It is described as a meeting place of east and west because it effectively merges the ancient practice of yoga from the east with the core stabilizing, posture enhancing dynamics of Pilates from the west.
